
Toyota has launched its first fully electric car in India, called the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. This move marks Toyota’s dedicated step into the Indian electric vehicle market. The Urban Cruiser EV offers two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh lithium-ion packs. The smaller battery delivers an estimated range of about 300 km. The larger battery increases the range to nearly 400 km on a full charge. The SUV includes LED headlamps, a digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Advanced safety systems like Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, and multiple airbags come standard.
