Kia India has launched the Kia Carens Kalvis EV, its first 7-seater electric vehicle made for Indian roads. The launch date was July 22, 2025, kicking off bookings with a ₹25,000 prebooking amount. The adaptive cruise control and advanced driver assistance systems provide support on long drives. Spaciousness doesn’t compromise as it offers 7 seats for families comfortably.

The smaller battery delivers a range of up to 404 km, while the larger one offers up to 490 km on a single charge (MIDC cycle). Both versions come with fast charging, filling from 10% to 80% within 39 minutes on 100 kW DC chargers. Electric motors generate 126 kW (171 PS) of power and 255 Nm torque, ensuring spirited performance and smooth acceleration.
